Very Disappointed

Well guys today I went to the PRO store to check out the new Chill Collection, and was not happy with what they had. I did buy the eyeliner which I like, (I already tried, LOL). I know I am a hot mess, anywho I think I will go back for the purplish lipgloss. But then they had the Dame Edna Collection, you know they always get the new collection a week before it hits the regular stores and department stores. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I was very excited about this collection especially the purple palette. I would have to work hard with the colors and if you have alot of eyeshadows like I do, you can definitely find a substitute. I shocked myself because I didn't get anything from the collection. (I am patting myself on the back).

Besides the disappointing news I have good news, you know that all the holiday sets are 25% off, well ladies, if you are a PRO member you can get your discount on all the holiday sets. I was like yes, but to be disappointed again they didn't have the Smokey Eye Palette, so tomorrow I will be on a hunt for them in a MAC store. I want my discount damn it. If I don't then I will have to give in and go to Macy's and get it, which I really hate Macy's counter. Maybe I will go to Bloomies or Saks instead. Well until next time, have a good night.

My Birthday Look

This is kind of late, my birthday was 12-10, and I had a wonderful day. This is the look I did when the husband and kids took me out to dinner. I have on Aztec Gold from Ben Nye on the lid and the red from Dangerzone on the Outer V and the crease, and some coppering. The rest of my face I can't remember.

Okay you know I bought the blush palette and shimmer eyeshadow palette from Coastal Scents. I tried 2 of the shadows, (sorry I didn't take a picture) they go on very nice, but I was rushing to get ready for church, and I didn't like the way it looked so I added 2 of my colors from Ben Nye, I got a lot of compliments, but I wasn't feeling it. I will have to do another look with it again and make sure to take pictures to see what you think. Now for the blush, for my skintone, I think it was to light for me I had to keep adding more to my cheeks for the color to show. It will be better on lighter skintone and for folks that don't wear to much makeup. But since I got 20% off my purchase I will keep it in my kit, ya never know. That is all for now. Metal Urge Look 12-17-08

Since I don't have anywhere to go in the morning anymore, but take the kids to school I haven't been putting on much makeup, and do I miss it. LOL. Anyway I had to go out this morning so I did a quick look using one of my Metal Urge eyeshadows. What do you think.

Remember I told you guys that I bought a lipstick and gloss from the Monogram Collection and took it back. Well my friend gave me the lipstick in Marque, and the lipgloss and the sheerspark powder for my birthday. I was so happy that would of been a purchase of $70.00. No way in hell. LOL.

Coastal Scents

Hi Guys

Well today I received my package from Coastal Scents and I bought the 88 Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette and the 10 Blush Palette. I am feeling the palettes, I swatched some of the shadows and OMG is it beautiful. I can't wait to see how it looks on especially the green and the purplish pink colors. Here are the picture of the palettes. You can't see the shimmer in the picture, but it is there.

Hi Guys

I know it has been a while, today I went to MAC in Queens and I ended up getting a lipgloss and lipstick from the new Monogram Collection, it was the red lipstick and red gloss. It looked nice and I bought it only to find out that my discount would not go towards it. I ended up paying like $67.00 for that and I bought a reflects glitter and lipliner. Now when I got to my car I could of kicked myself for buying that, I would never pay $22.00 for no damn lipgloss and lipstick, and I don't wear lipstick that much. Anyway I went to the MAC store in Brooklyn, and returned that sucker along with the lipliner, LOL. But I did buy Pink Bronze Pigment and a blush, so $31.00 went back to my card. I need to really budget when it comes to MAC, because they come out with so many new things. And they already have the new Dame Edna Collection in the store waiting to be put on the shelves, LOL. So back to the Face of the Day, I used my Ben Nye Collection today, I just love to wear green and purples. So here is the look. Enjoy, until next time.
