Hi Guys

I was feeling very purpleyyyy today, LOL, and the other day I went to Inglot and picked up 2 eyeshadows from their matte collections. I really like their matte colors, they are so pigmented its ridiculous, but the only thing I hate with all their shadows is that they are powdery and you can get a lot of fall out if you're not careful. So onto the look and I hope you like.

I am here with another post, I am on a roll today.... I am not sure if any of you know this, but I love Ben Nye shadows, they are very pigmented and they blend very well. I did this look on a Saturday for church, yes my eyes are very bright in church, and whoever don't like it can kick rocks, now Ms. Diva from WelcometoDivasWorld had the pleasure of taking this picture of me, LOL.... Hey Ladies

As I promised here are pictures of a few bloggers and youtubers, and items I purchased. I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was excited and running my mouth to much. I think this year was the most fun that I had, meeting Sam Fine lord is that man beautiful, his smile is to die for, I met Queen of Blending and Makeup By RenRen, when I started watching youtube 3 years ago they were the first 2 ladies I started watching. That lead to my addiction to youtube and more makeup. I swear I watched youtube for the entire day because I was that amazed. And of course I can't leave out celebrity MUA Jennifer James, I met her for the first time last year at the MU Show, and I am on her facebook page, so when she saw me she screamed my name and gave me a big hug, I couldn't believe she showed me so much love, I just love her. And she is coming to NY soon to teach classes YIPPIE!!!!!! As well as DC, Chicago, PA check out her website for dates.

They had a set for $80.00 with 50% off, so I paid $40.00 for the anti-shine, lip scrub, lip conditioner, a wax pencil, I think there was something else in there I have to look again.

But that is all I got, I really went to get a makeup kit, I wanted the Zuca Bag but that damn Alcone was selling it for $240.00 that was not a discount, oh I forgot I also bought 2 individual HD foundations and powder from Graftobian, I kept using the foundation from my foundation kit on myself and decided I needed my own that was $42.00 they have to ship it to me, and the Mascara Shield. MUFE was ridiculous the line was all the way to Crown Brushes, I wanted the new Aqua Liners so I ended up going to Soho today and I got 4 of them, can't wait to try those babies, and here are some pictures.

Wet & Wild Palettes

Another post before I go to bed, I bought the Wet and Wild palettes in I believe Greed and Vanity, and I must say a good buy for $4.99, I usually don't buy drug store makeup, but I was very impressed on these. They are very pigmented as you can tell from the pictures below, I am really getting into matte colors more. If you want some cheap eyeshadow that give good color payoff, get to your local CVS, Duane Reade and pick these up, I also picked up their new hodiday palettes, but I didn't try them yet once I do I will put some pictures up. Sleek Makeup

My girlfriend went to London this past summer and I gave her some funds to finally pick me up some Sleek Makeup. I know most of you heard of them, if you haven't you must try them out, there shadows are mineralized that come in a sleek small palette, easy to carry around. The pigmentation on these shadows are amazing, some of them can be a little grainy (if that is a word) LOL, and they do have alot of fallout, but besides those 2 cons these are great shadows.

I also have from them their face contour kit, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, and 2 of the blushes. Here is a look I did using the shadows I hope you like, let me know what you think, I don't know what I used on my lips but I need to figure it out, I love it, LOL

I know, I know its been a longggggggg time since I posted something. I've taken plenty of pictures but no time to put them on my blog, and just pure laziness. So for the new year I will try my best to post something at least once or twice a week. I am trying to do so many thing for the new year, I will be starting back school to finish getting my Bachelors its time a sister is not getting any younger, LOL. Need to start working out to get these pounds off my ass, hahahahahaha, and just taking care of myself, eating right enough with the junk. Food is the devil I tell you.....

Fabulous Feline Review

Hey Guys

I have a review for you the Fabulous Feline. I went to the PRO store last Thursday to check out the new collection, I didn't get any of the quads, you can find a dupe for all the colors unless you don't have a lot of MAC shadows then yes you should get at least one. I was so excited to get the liner because when I swatched them on my hand they went on very smooth. Soooo I bought all of them except the black, I got 2 lipglosses and 1 blush. Got home ready to try these babies on, I was very, very disappointed once I tried them on my eyes. They are very watery and some of the colors did not show up. Out of all of them that I got I am keeping 3, the gold, silver, and the blue those were the only decent ones. This collection overall is not all that, I give it a 5 out of 10. I wasn't impressed. If you are interested the collection launches in stores this Thursday, so check it out and let me know what you think.

Last week I went to Sephora and picked up this beautiful eyeshadow combo which was new I think it is the contour colors, and it was by Sephora, I was amazed at how pigmented the shadow was. I never really liked Sephora brand e/s, but I think they changed the formula, because I likey. Here is the look below

Ladies
I had a hard time getting this damn MSF, it was sold out within hours of the premier. At first I wasn't going to get it, but I kept hearing all this hype about it, so being the addict that I am, I had to get it. Now I called like 15 stores yesterday and they were all sold out. :-((, not a happy camper. So I went to 42nd Street anyway to get some more of the new Mineralize e/s, love, love, love them. Now I called this store yesterday as well, so I am there and this wonderful MUA name Diva was helping me, and I mentioned that I wanted Stereo Rose and every where was sold out. Why she said she was holding one for herself and said that I can have it, I was doing cart wheels in my mind, I couldn't believe she did that for me, I thanked her so much. Now that is what you call customer service. This MSF is very pigmented, I put it on today, and had to rub some of it off. But ladies sometimes you get some nasty people, but there are times when you get the nicest person and you want to always go back to them to give them that sale. I hate going to 42nd St, to many damn tourist for me, but I will go definately go there just to see Ms. Diva.

I am back I finally got a new camera, and I am using my 11 year old daughters lap top, still have a virus on my desktop, I am ready to dash it in the garbage. Trying to get an Apple computer this time around. Anywho I was browsing Temptalia page and she had a post about an e/s from Becca called Shangtung, as many of you know Sephora used to sell Becca, I wish they didn't get rid of it. So being the makeup addict that I am, LOL I went searching to see where its being sold, and come to find out they have a new beauty section in some Duane Reade stores that sells Becca, so you know I went calling to find a location. After work I went straight to 42nd Street, Grand Central in NYC.

OMG!!!!! It was a beautiful section that sells Becca, POP, Vera Moore, Pur Minerals, and a few others that I never heard of but they were nice. My mouth hit the floor who knew DR was getting so upscale. Got in the damn store didn't have the color e/s I was pissed, but I've always wanted to try Pur Minerals after hearing about it from MakeupbyRenRen, and Queen of Blending, I ended up getting the Start Now kit that has 4 pieces for $37.00 not bad at all, it has a Press Mineral Foundation which is a 4-in-1, Mineral Glow, Universal Marble Powder, and a Chisel Brush. Now the bigger size foundation was $23.00 so I opted to get the kit, which is a way better deal, just smaller size products.

So I will be trying this out for you guys and I will let you know what I think about it since I am getting into the mineral powder foundations. Below is a picture of what I got. Talk to you guys soon.

Hi Guys

Pray for me to continue to post on a regular basis, LOL.. As you may know I love liquid or cream foundations, but it has been so hot that I am trying not to wear so much foundation in this heat, I don't want to melt, LOL... I usually don't like to use mineral powder foundation, because it makes me look ashy and it just doesn't look right. I've bought from MAC, Prescriptives which I ended up returning, and this brand called Bella from ATL, which was the worse still have the damn thing just sitting there. So about 2 months ago I asked for a sample of the mineral powder from MAC, and decided to use it yesterday. And would you know I LOVE IT!!!!!! I think I was probably putting it on wrong and not buffing it in enough. I used the SS197 brush from Sigma (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that brush) I have to get like 3 more. I think I found a new love in mineral powder, LOL. Can you guys suggest any other brands I should use besides MAC, Prescriptive done went out of business :((

I know long time, I have been busy trying to find a job going on a year next month that I was laid off, thank god unemployment is still coming. I actually had 2 interviews with MAC, but it has been 2 weeks now that I had the second interview and they haven't called back so I guess I was not in the running, I am not upset about it; will keep sending out my resume. This is giving me more confidence in what I want. I did my first test photo shoot a week ago and was nervous as all hell, but it turned out pretty good, I was putting on those lashes in one shot (I have my good and bad days with those damn things). Okay I know I have been gone for a while, I have been really lazy, and I can't stand my camera phone. I really need to invest into a new digital camera. I was away in Georgia, and my daughter ended up breaking her ankle so she is in a cast and on crutches for a few more weeks. But here is a FOTD that I did in Atlanta in July, unfortunately I can't remember what I had on, I know one of the colors are Silver Ring, enjoy, and I will be posting really soon. 2009 Makeup Show

Hey Ladies

Did I have a wonderful day today. The Makeup Show was amazing, I think yesterday was fabulous but I heard it was very crowded, today wasn't that crowded I got there around 11 in the morning. I bought a few things not to much. Makeup Forever had the greatest deals 40% off, that is amazing. MAC didn't have alot of stuff, I didn't even bother, I have soooo many things from MAC, and what do I see when I turn on my computer the new Style Warrior, LOL. You know I have to go and see what it looks like. Anywho, what made my day even more enjoyable was to see the lovely Brittany from Clumps of Mascara, and Erin from Scandalous Beauty, they are just amazing and wonderful, very beautiful ladies, hope to see them again and chat some more. I just want you guys to know that I really appreciate the compliments that you gave me today, it just gives me more confidence that I know that I need to take my talent to the next level, because I really enjoy makeup. I did a look yesterday using Aquavert, Club, and Deep Truth, I actually got the idea after watching Makeupbyrenren. She did her best friends makeup using the same colors except I didn't have blue flame, so I used Deep Truth as a dupe, I liked the way it came out so let me know what you think. On to the look, enjoy. Excuse the puffiness under my eyes. My eyes were tiching the night before and this is what had happen before

Ladies

I went to the mall one day and was at the Bobbi Brown counter, and they had this new foundation called Skin Foundation, which is suppose to be very light but flawless. So I ask the sales person for a sample, I haven't had good luck with their foundation. OMG I wish I tried it on in the store because I would of bought the damn bottle. When I got home I thought I was going to die. This foundation is wonderful, it is light but buildable it matches my skin tone to the T, and I also decided to try the concealer and I love it, a bit on the expensive side, but I wanted to get it. I am not too good with concealer sometimes I feel I can still see some of the dark under my eyes, let me know if you have any suggestion on that or tell me what I am doing wrong. Hi Guys

I know, I know it has been a while, but I haven't been wearing much makeup since I don't have J.O.B to go to, LOL. A while ago I went into this store called Essentials in Queen Center Mall in NY, and they had all the NYX stuff, and I know alot of bloggers use then so I bought 2 eyeshadow palettes to try, and the Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil. They are not so pigmented like MAC but with the right base the color will pop, so today I used one of the green palettes, tell me what you think, towards the end of the day I think it started to look a little blue-ish. I forgot to put on concealer today, and I was putting on the shadow on my lower lash and didn't like it, so I took it off, LOL. I was in a rush today. The line is no other than The Master of Makeup, I discovered her on Myspace last year, and she is amazing, you will be in awwww when you see her work, at. Boy does she know how to cut the crease. Hey Guys

How are you today, well I went to MAC last week and bought some stuff from the new collection. I only ended up getting 1 eyeshadow which is Henna, that is a beautiful color even though Sumptous Olive looks almost like it is more gold on me than green. The other colors I didn't even bother because I have so many colors that I can dupe. I got a MSF the Brunette, I love it very pretty, and I got 2 lipglosses Peroxide and Quick Tease. Peroxide is a wonderful color I think I will be going back to get another one. Oh almost forgot I ended up getting all three brushes they are FABULOUS, especially the 214 it works wonderfully on the lower lashline. Also bought a lip prep & prime, pinkarat and springbean lipgloss. And on to the look of the day

Makeup Collection

Hi Guys
I know it has been a while, just been lazy, and forgetting to take pictures of my FOTD. So I am bored and watching my daughter and nieces play the Wii game, so I decided to post pictures of my makeup collections. I started really wearing makeup about 1994 when I would just wear lipstick from MAC, my favorite color was Icon and Plastique, then around 2000 I started wearing eyeshadow only had 3 colors. Then about 2003 that is when I became a MAC addict, I just started buying alot of makeup, when something came out I bought the entire collection. Now mind you I didn't have a PRO card, I just got mine in May 2008 at the makeup show. If you haven't been to the makeup show be sure to get there in May. It's like being a kid in a candy store, makeup heaven. LOL. Anyway my collection has grown from 2003 to now, I know have alot of stuff. Tell me what you think. Talk to you soon....

Almost forgot that I bought a few things that I wanted to show you, here is a picture of everything.

I went to Sephora and bought the holiday edition lipglosses by stila, and the Two Face Insurance Primer, love this stuff. Then I went to the MAC Pro store, and got the wet q-tips, a pro gloss, the concealer pencil which I used under my brow, the pen liner, and the new cream liner. I also got the new mascara by Covergirl, this eyeshadow is the best so far that thing separates your lashes beautifully, and only $6.99. So that is what I got last week, trying to curb my spending. I am waiting for the new Blondes Collection from MAC. I hope that is not a disappointment. Okay I am done for the night. LOL.

MUFE Face and Body Foundation( Bought a sample and I love it)

The MUFE foundation goes on so nice, and it matches my complexion to a T. I like when I wear foundation that it doesn't look like I have on a lot of makeup. I will be going back to Sephora to buy the bottle of foundation. I am a mess. LOL

Please let me know if there is any other foundations brands that I should try.

Very Disappointed

Well guys today I went to the PRO store to check out the new Chill Collection, and was not happy with what they had. I did buy the eyeliner which I like, (I already tried, LOL). I know I am a hot mess, anywho I think I will go back for the purplish lipgloss. But then they had the Dame Edna Collection, you know they always get the new collection a week before it hits the regular stores and department stores. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I was very excited about this collection especially the purple palette. I would have to work hard with the colors and if you have alot of eyeshadows like I do, you can definitely find a substitute. I shocked myself because I didn't get anything from the collection. (I am patting myself on the back).

Besides the disappointing news I have good news, you know that all the holiday sets are 25% off, well ladies, if you are a PRO member you can get your discount on all the holiday sets. I was like yes, but to be disappointed again they didn't have the Smokey Eye Palette, so tomorrow I will be on a hunt for them in a MAC store. I want my discount damn it. If I don't then I will have to give in and go to Macy's and get it, which I really hate Macy's counter. Maybe I will go to Bloomies or Saks instead. Well until next time, have a good night.

My Birthday Look

This is kind of late, my birthday was 12-10, and I had a wonderful day. This is the look I did when the husband and kids took me out to dinner. I have on Aztec Gold from Ben Nye on the lid and the red from Dangerzone on the Outer V and the crease, and some coppering. The rest of my face I can't remember.

Okay you know I bought the blush palette and shimmer eyeshadow palette from Coastal Scents. I tried 2 of the shadows, (sorry I didn't take a picture) they go on very nice, but I was rushing to get ready for church, and I didn't like the way it looked so I added 2 of my colors from Ben Nye, I got a lot of compliments, but I wasn't feeling it. I will have to do another look with it again and make sure to take pictures to see what you think. Now for the blush, for my skintone, I think it was to light for me I had to keep adding more to my cheeks for the color to show. It will be better on lighter skintone and for folks that don't wear to much makeup. But since I got 20% off my purchase I will keep it in my kit, ya never know. That is all for now. Well today I received my package from Coastal Scents and I bought the 88 Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette and the 10 Blush Palette. I am feeling the palettes, I swatched some of the shadows and OMG is it beautiful. I can't wait to see how it looks on especially the green and the purplish pink colors. Here are the picture of the palettes. You can't see the shimmer in the picture, but it is there.

Hi Guys

I know it has been a while, today I went to MAC in Queens and I ended up getting a lipgloss and lipstick from the new Monogram Collection, it was the red lipstick and red gloss. It looked nice and I bought it only to find out that my discount would not go towards it. I ended up paying like $67.00 for that and I bought a reflects glitter and lipliner. Now when I got to my car I could of kicked myself for buying that, I would never pay $22.00 for no damn lipgloss and lipstick, and I don't wear lipstick that much. Anyway I went to the MAC store in Brooklyn, and returned that sucker along with the lipliner, LOL. But I did buy Pink Bronze Pigment and a blush, so $31.00 went back to my card. I need to really budget when it comes to MAC, because they come out with so many new things. And they already have the new Dame Edna Collection in the store waiting to be put on the shelves, LOL. So back to the Face of the Day, I used my Ben Nye Collection today, I just love to wear green and purples. So here is the look. Enjoy, until next time.

Metal Urge Collection and other goodies

Well yesterday I went to MAC in Brooklyn Heights they had a brunch and they were showing different techniques in applying makeup, which is always good to know. I love taking there classes. Anyway they also had the new collection out which is Metal Urge, they are just like the Metal X they had out last year. I wasn't really feeling the Metal X it just wasn't going on right for me. Maybe I needed to try and use a different brush, but I did get 3 of the shadows in this collection. I really like the colors that I got, and you can also use them as an eyeshadow base.
